At Franciscan St. Francis Health, we focus on creating opportunities of a lifetime for our patients and professionals. For nearly 100 years, the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration have served the Indianapolis area. In 1914, two Sisters from the Order of the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration, with a mission to care for those who could not care for themselves, traveled to Beech Grove, Ind., to create a hospital for that needy community.
Later, Franciscan St. Francis Health (previously named St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers) was established and now is a large, dynamic medical system serving south-central Indiana.
